DDLJ revisited after a decade!

Watched DDLJ after all these years!
Enjoyed it every bit as much as I did it the first time around!!
Shahrukh and Kajol....wonderful; their chemistry ....amazing; music ....out of this world; backdrops.... breathtaking whether it is the pristine white mountains of Switzerland or apne des ki very colourful mitti.. Supporting actors ....very likeable even though somewhat stereotypical.
Just noticed a few things that I had missed the first time around:
A very small part played by Karan Johar as Shahrukh's best friend on the tour. He looks so nerdy! It was quite funny to watch hime like that after watching his sauve and sophisticated personna on Koffee with Karan!!
Also, the very Indianness of the characters played by Sharukh ( Raaj) and Kajol (Simran). I mean commone, they are second generation Asians in Uk!At least it's understandable for Simran because of her upbringing, but Raaj? He loses his mother at a tender young age and brought up by his father who is a selfmade man...Probably quite busy with his work most of the time.
They do not have an accent, are very much on board with things like old hindi movies, religious festivals, have values that are very Indian, hang out only with other Asian students at college.....a bit hard to digest!
Still, the fact remains that it is one of the most enjoyable movies on my list even after all these years!
